Courtney Gillespie

Courtney Gillespie is the current Director of Government Affairs at TaskRabbit. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Global Mobility Specialist at Twitter from April 2013 to June 2013. From June 2011 to November 2012, Courtney worked as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State where they managed a team providing services to American citizens in Switzerland and Iran. Courtney also worked as a Visa Officer and interviewed approximately 60 non-immigrant visa applicants daily. From June 2009 to July 2010, Courtney worked as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State managing an exceptionally diverse portfolio of economic issues in the Middle East’s largest economy, including trade, investment, environment, science, technology, health, labor, and aviation issues.

Courtney Gillespie attended Kinkaid for their high school diploma. Courtney then went on to The University of Texas at Austin for their BS in Plan II. After that, they attended Georgetown University for their MS in Foreign Service.
