Maik Hassel

Maik Hassel is an experienced professional in product management and software development with a diverse background across various technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Management & Value Stream Lead at Planview, Inc. since November 2022, and concurrently as Product Value Stream Lead at Tasktop since April 2019, Maik previously held roles including Sr. Product Manager at Tasktop and Product Manager at iQmetrix and Incognito Software Systems, where responsibilities included management of a device management solution. As the owner of Simply Efficient Inc., Maik specialized in custom software development and IT consulting for a wide range of clients. Earlier career highlights include leading a bioinformatics project at Canada’s Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre and managing projects in robotics and telecommunications at MZ Robotics Laboratory and Deutsche Telekom Mobilnet GmbH, respectively. Maik holds a Master of Computer Science degree with honours from The University of Bonn, complemented by minors in Atomic Physics, Genetics, and Business.
