Tasmanian Times is a an independent platform for news, stories and digital media of all categories about the island of Tasmania, Australia. It is compiled with love and contributions by and for those with an interest in the wonders and life of Tasmania.

Volunteer editors and content curators are also extremely welcome and training is provided.

The Tasmanian Times acknowledges the palawa people as the traditional owners and custodians of lutruwita/Tasmania and pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge the vital importance of reconciliation, and hope to act as allies in providing a voice to Tasmanian Aboriginal people.

TT could not have come into being and grown without the extraordinary goodwill of its readership. Donations to Tasmanian Times and the support of a limited number of advertisers have enabled its continued development and growth. Thank you!
A crowdfunding campaign will be launched in 2020 to garner funds for the development of the TT project. Advertising also helps to cover the costs of running the Tasmanian Times site.
