TasPorts is a state-owned company responsible for eleven Tasmanian ports and the Devonport Airport, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

As an island state, Tasmania is reliant upon shipping, port infrastructure and port operations to sustain our communities and our economy. Each year 99% of the State’s freight moves through the TasPorts multi-port network.
Working collaboratively, we work to deliver upon our vision to proudly connect people, products and solutions for the benefit of all Tasmanians.

We are responsible for Tasmania’s four major ports of Bell Bay, Burnie, Hobart and Devonport.

Beyond our major ports, we are also responsible for the management of a number of smaller community ports around Tasmania; Beauty Point | Inspection Head, Port of Lady Baron | Flinders Island, Whitemark Harbour | Flinders Island, Currie Harbour | King Island, Port of Grassy | King Island, Port of Stanley | North West Coast and Port of Strahan | West Coast.
