Candice Terhell

Candice Terhell has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at TasPorts since July 2017, where roles have included General Counsel/Company Secretary (Acting) and Senior Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes a position as Corporate Solicitor (Secondee) at Hydro Tasmania and serving as an Associate at Page Seager Lawyers, specializing in Corporate & Commercial law, focusing on acquisition and disposal transactions, mergers, procurement, and corporate advisory. Additional secondments include roles at Asciano, where responsibilities involved drafting and negotiating various contracts, and a previous secondment at Hydro Tasmania relating to engineering and consulting matters. Candice holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Tasmanian Legal Practice Course and a dual degree in Laws and Arts from the University of Tasmania.
