tasteslikemetal is an independent game and animation studio focused on creating atmospheric, story-driven experiences that combine striking visual identity, immersive worldbuilding, and meaningful player agency.

Our work explores themes of decay, memory, consequence, and the relationship between people, systems, and technology. We are particularly drawn to projects that blend strong artistic direction with thoughtful gameplay and environmental storytelling.

We are currently developing Glassborne, a dark adventure set inside a decaying world managed by a damaged AI. Players take on the role of a fragile maintenance construct tasked with repairing systems the world was never meant to remember, uncovering forgotten truths hidden beneath centuries of neglect.

Based in Atlantic Canada, tasteslikemetal is actively building relationships with publishers, investors, platform partners, and industry collaborators as we continue development of Glassborne and future original projects.
