Brian Rooney

Brian Rooney is a seasoned writer and marketing professional with diverse experience in the food and dining sector. Currently serving as a Food & Dining Feature Writer at Tasting Table since January 2022, Brian has previously worked as a Marketing Assistant at NJ Lenders Corp, where responsibilities included creating video advertisements and collaborating with senior leadership for marketing strategies. An internship at Man Of The Hour Magazine as a Food and Drink Journalist provided valuable experience in journalism. Brian also held the position of Opinion Editor at The Montclarion, where oversight of the Opinion section included writing editorials and engaging with university administration on student issues. This role earned recognition in the New Jersey Press Foundation’s College Newspaper Contest. Brian's professional journey includes an internship at the Manhattan Comedy School, contributing to promotional efforts for live events. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Arts from Montclair State University.
