Paresh Shimpi

Paresh Shimpi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in materials science and engineering. Paresh began the academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, followed by two Master’s degrees in Applied Physics from the same institution and Binghamton University. Subsequently, Paresh obtained a Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Professional experience includes roles as a Lab Assistant at the University of Arkansas, a Postdoc at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute focusing on semiconductor fabrication, and a Technical Manager at Tata Electronics. Additional positions involved significant contributions to GLOBALFOUNDRIES and Intel Corporation, emphasizing defect characterization, process engineering, and team training in advanced semiconductor technologies.
