Swarna M. is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Fab Technology Sourcing at Tata Electronics, responsible for strategic sourcing of Lithography, Metrology, and Thin Films fabrication equipment since November 2024. Prior to this role, Swarna held various positions at Intel Corporation from September 2019 to September 2024, including Chief of Staff for SMG India, overseeing Sales, Marketing, and Communications, and a Portfolio Development Manager focusing on Automotive Solutions. Earlier experience includes serving as an Equipment Development & Commodity Manager for Intel’s Memory Devices. Swarna's academic background consists of a Ph.D. in Nanostructured Materials from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an Executive Management degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Research work began at the Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur and continued at the University of Missouri, where contributions included development and characterization of novel optical and electronic materials.
