Jake Reschke

Researcher Data Scientist II at Tatari

Jake Reschke has had a varied and successful career in the sciences. In 2011, they began as a Student Intern at AECOM ENVIRONMENT, where they assisted in environmental remediation and environmental impact studies. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Davis, where they applied probability theory and spectral theory to problems in quantum mechanics. During 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Scholar and Visiting Researcher at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they participated in an ongoing project to apply machine learning to 19+ years of atmospheric data and developed and implemented numerical analysis algorithms for partial differential equations. Currently, Reschke is a Data Scientist at Tatari.

Jake Reschke has a comprehensive educational background. Jake began their studies in 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physics from California State University, Northridge in 2014. Jake then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mathematics from the same university, which they completed in 2016. Reschke continued their education, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis in 2021. Additionally, Reschke has obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Distributed Computing with Spark SQL (2021), Data Wrangling, Analysis and AB Testing with SQL (2021), SQL for Data Science (2021), Deep Learning Specialization (2021), and Machine Learning (2021).
