Rudy Gilmore

Researcher Data Scientist, Senior II at Tatari

Rudy Gilmore has been working in the data science field since 2012. Rudy began their career as a Systems Integration Engineer at NextNav LLC, where they tested RF positioning equipment and analyzed the performance of NextNav's proprietary location network. Rudy also wrote code in Python and Perl to develop testing and data visualization scripts. In 2012, they moved to the University of California, Santa Cruz as a Postdoc. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at SISSA in Italy, where they conducted research and developed simulations of gamma-ray detection by the upcoming CTA gamma-ray telescope. In 2014, they joined TrueCar, Inc. as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist, where they were responsible for research and development for new products, data analysis and visualization, algorithm coding and testing, and supporting other corporate teams with analytical expertise. In 2018, they became a Senior Data Scientist at Tatari.

Rudy Gilmore obtained a B.A. in Physics from Reed College between 1998 and 2002. Rudy then went on to pursue a PhD in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, which they completed in 2009.
