Scott Idler has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Scott began their career in 2002 as a Customer Service Rep and Customer Service at T-Mobile. In 2008, they moved to Intel, where they held the roles of Senior DevOps Engineer, SCM and Infrastructure Engineer, and DirectX Validation Engineer. In 2015, they joined Idealist.org as a Site Reliability Engineer, and then in 2016, they joined Mozilla as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Finally, in 2020, they joined Tatari as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer Manager.
Scott Idler completed their education history in the following order: Scott attended Las Cruces High School from 1988 to 1992. Scott then attended New Mexico State University from 1992 to 1992, where they received a Music degree in Music. Next, they attended New Mexico Military Institute from 1990 to 1994, where they received an Arts degree in General. After that, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1994 to 1998, where they did not receive a degree. Finally, they attended the University of Advancing Technology from 2006 to 2008, where they received a Bachelor's of Software Engineering in Computer Science.
