Timothy Morton

Director, Research Data Science at Tatari

Timothy Morton has a long and varied work experience. Timothy began their career in 2006 as a MATCH Corps tutor and teaching assistant at MATCH School. Timothy then went on to pursue their Ph.D. at the California Institute of Technology, where they were a research assistant from 2007 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they were an Associate Research Scholar in Astrophysics at Princeton University, funded by NASA as a Kepler Participating Scientist. Timothy'smain area of study was exploring the demographics of extrasolar planet systems. Timothy then moved on to the University of Florida, where they were an Assistant Professor from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they have been a Senior Data Scientist at Tatari since 2021.

Timothy Morton obtained their A.B. in Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics from Harvard University in 2006, and their Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Caltech in 2013.
