William Engel

William Engel currently serves as the VP of Strategy and Finance at TATCHA, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Engel was the Head of Finance at Banyan Infrastructure from June 2023 to January 2025 and Senior Director of Strategic Finance at Allbirds from August 2021 to June 2023. Engel's extensive experience in investment banking includes serving as a Senior Associate at William Blair, where 17+ M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions were successfully completed. Engel also held managerial positions in financial planning and analysis at Panera Bread, focusing on significant eCommerce initiatives, and performed research analysis at BTU Power/QGEN Energy. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Lafayette College.
