Taurus is a publicly traded Brazilian company headquartered in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul. Founded in 1939, Taurus exports to more than 80 countries and has more than 2,600 workers, distributed in four industrial plants: three of them in Brazil and one in Miami, in the United States. The Brazilian units are located in Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná and Bahia.

Taurus positions itself as a company focused on the safety of people, providing products that are directly or indirectly present in their daily lives.
