Tautus aspires to drive the sustainable development of standards, technology, and skills in specialist inspection and test services for the mining and energy sectors across the globe.
Known as the leader in its field, Tautus currently works with potash, salt, zinc, and lead mines carrying out static and dynamic load testing and inspection of mine hoists and winding equipment. With the support of its sister organisation, Finch Consulting – a leader in health, safety, and engineering – Tautus is investing in new services and the development of new talent for mining and emerging energy technologies.
Working with owners and managers of working and tourist mines, we test and inspect both legacy and new winders and hoists. These operate in deep shafts and drifts to move both people and materials.
