Manuel Großmann

Manuel Großmann has an extensive background in service design and is highly experienced in various roles within the field. Manuel started their career as a Freelance Usability Consultant at artop GmbH in 2009, followed by a position as an Interaction Design & Design Researcher at Fjord in 2009-2010. Manuel then continued at Fjord as a Designer and later became a Senior Service Designer. Großmann also worked as a Guest Lecturer in User-Centered Design at Weißeensee Kunsthochschule Berlin from 2011-2014 and as a Lecturer in Visual Thinking at hdpk Hochschule der populären Künste from 2014-2015.

In 2011, they co-founded Service Design Berlin, where they organized various events, conferences, and meetups to foster the service design community in Germany. Großmann was also appointed as a Google Developer expert for UX/UI at Google from 2014-2016.

From 2013-2019, they worked as the Creative Lead & Co-Founder at Fuxblau. Since 2019, Großmann has been serving as a Service Design Consultant at Manuel Großmann - Service Design & Facilitation. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Taxfix as a Senior Principal Designer.

Manuel Großmann obtained a Diplom (Master of Arts) in Product Design from Weißeensee Kunsthochschule Berlin, which they attended from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they studied Product Design at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie from 2006 to 2007, and Industrial Design at Burg Giebichenstein - Hochschule für Kunst und Design Halle from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Manuel has also achieved certifications, including Senior Expert VR from XR-C Academy GmbH and Diplom Produktdesigner from weißensee academy of art berlin, obtained in 2021 and 2010, respectively.
