Kent DeBruin

Kent DeBruin is currently the Head of US Tax Operations at Taxually. They previously served as a Managing Director at BDO USA, LLP, where they focused on state and local tax issues. Kent has also held roles as a Senior Consultant at Ryan and as a Hearing Officer in Michigan’s Administrative Hearing System, conducting tax appeals. They began their career as a Law Clerk with the Michigan Tax Tribunal, where they gained expertise in state taxation law. Kent earned a Juris Doctor and a Master's Degree in Taxation from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Michigan State University.
