Jed Sundwall is an established professional with extensive experience in data governance and environmental policy. Currently serving as Executive Director at Radiant Earth and a Lecturer at Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, Sundwall teaches courses on data access for environmental governance. Additional roles include Technical Advisor at the Flickr Foundation, Industry Fellow at Taylor Geospatial Engine, Board Advisor at PLACE, and Strategic Advisor at The Center for Open Data Enterprise. From June 2022 to June 2024, Sundwall was a member of the Board of Directors at NatureServe, focusing on species diversity and ecosystem health. Prior positions at Amazon and Amazon Web Services included leading open data initiatives and sustainability business development. Sundwall holds a Master of Public Policy from UC San Diego and double bachelor's degrees in Spanish and English from the University of Utah.
