Patrick Banegas

Patrick Banegas has a diverse work experience spanning both the private and public sectors. Patrick currently holds the position of Land Investment Director, Corporate at Taylor Morrison, a role they began in 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they served as the Corporate Vice President, Land at American Southern Homes, where they were responsible for land acquisition and development for multiple homebuilding companies within the portfolio.

Their tenure at Taylor Morrison extends back to 2005, where they started as a Superintendent/Builder before progressing through various roles. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Director, Corporate Land Investment, leading the evaluation of land investment activity across multiple regions. During this time, they spearheaded their sustainability strategy and contributed to the creation of Taylor Morrison's first Corporate Responsibility/ESG reports.

Mr. Banegas has prior experience in the United States Navy, where they served as a Lieutenant (O-3), Surface Warfare Division Officer. Patrick was responsible for the operation and maintenance of engineering plant equipment and led a crew during daily watches at sea and in port. Patrick served in this role from 2002 to 2008.

Patrick Banegas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from New Mexico State University in 2002. In 2013, they completed a Master of Science degree in International Real Estate from Florida International University. Patrick then pursued an Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University between 2017 and 2018. Lastly, in 2015, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
