Barbara Junge

Barbara Junge has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as the Chefredakteurin at taz, die Tageszeitung since May 2016, after holding the position of Stellvertretende Chefredakteurin. Prior to this, Barbara Junge worked as a US Korrespondentin at Verlag Der Tagesspiegel from June 2013 to May 2016. Barbara Junge received a Diplom in Sociology, Politics, Philosophy, and Psychology from Freie Universität Berlin, with earlier studies at The University of Freiburg between 1987 and 1989, and attended Berliner Journalistenschule for journalistic training.
