Scot Vanderpool

Scot Vanderpool is a detail-oriented transit executive with 34 years of experience in transportation management and logistical oversight. Currently serving as the General Manager of TCAT Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Scot oversees all aspects of the public transit agency while actively collaborating with local organizations and advocating for funding at various government levels. Previously, Scot held significant roles, including Manager of Parking and Transit Services at Syracuse University and Manager of Operations and Planning at Central New York Regional Transportation Authority. Scot is committed to advancing public transportation through strategic planning and community sustainability efforts. Scot is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
