Chaka Berthe is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in teaching, research, and project management. Chaka served as a Teaching Assistant at Southern University from August 2014 to May 2016, where responsibilities included assisting students with laboratory equipment and simulation software, holding office hours, and supervising final projects. Prior to that role, Chaka worked as a Research Assistant at Southern University from August 2012 to April 2013, focusing on the design and fabrication of a fluorescence gas X-Ray detector. Additionally, Chaka tutored mathematics at Baton Rouge Community College in 2010. Since November 2017, Chaka has been with TCE, currently holding the position of Senior Project Engineer, contributing to the Canarsie Tunnel Rehabilitation project.
