Eric Payne is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering roles within the gas transmission industry. Currently serving as a Mechanical Compression Project Engineer at TC Energy since September 2018, Eric has previously held positions as Principal Project Manager at Hatch Mott MacDonald, where responsibilities included leading mechanical engineering for a significant interstate compression station project in Pennsylvania, and as Lead Project Engineer at Enable Midstream Partners. In that capacity, Eric was instrumental in designing new compressor stations, supervising engineering firms, and overseeing construction and commissioning activities. Earlier career roles included engineering positions at Production Operators Inc. and Tidewater Compression Service, specializing in compressor package engineering.
