Mark Klassen

Mark Klassen has extensive experience in the petroleum and energy sectors, beginning as a Production Operator at Amoco Petroleum from March 1985 to November 1989, where responsibilities included operating a sour oil and gas processing facility and managing a sulfur re-melt operation. From November 1989 to June 2005, Mark worked at TransCanada, first as an EI&C Technician, overseeing the operation and maintenance of compressor and meter stations and managing equipment from Rolls Royce and Alison. Subsequently, Mark served as a Land Integrity Technician, focusing on winter operations as First Call and Crossing Rep, as well as summer responsibilities involving landowner relations and right of way issues. Mark holds a Power Engineer degree and completed an Electrical apprenticeship at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
