Derek Plath

Derek Plath is a skilled physical therapist currently employed at Twin Cities Orthopedics since June 2023. With a robust background in fitness and rehabilitation, Derek has served as a certified personal trainer at SOTA Fitness and as a physical therapy aide at AdvaCare Clinics. Previous roles include senior provider advocate at GradStaff, Inc. and CIGNA Behavioral Health, as well as student tech support at the University of Minnesota's Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. Additionally, Derek worked as a personal trainer at the University of Minnesota Recreation and Wellness and as a personal care assistant at ACR Homes. Derek earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota.
