Jim Rakow has extensive experience in sports medicine and athletic training, currently serving as a Sports Medicine Liaison at Twin Cities Orthopedics since August 2010 and as an Athletic Trainer at the University of St. Thomas since February 2014. Prior to these roles, Jim held the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer at Augsburg College from August 2010 to March 2014 and worked as the Research, Education and Outreach Manager at Minnesota Sports Medicine/Twin Cities Orthopedics from February 2006 to August 2010. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Education and Promotion with a focus in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and completed high school at DC Everest High School between 1985 and 1987.
