Tyler Douglass, PT, DPT, ITPT, earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where he was an Athletic Medicine Intern with the Gopher football team for 3 seasons. He is a former competitive swimmer and soccer goalie, and has experience coaching swim stroke mechanics and developing training programs for Beginner through Masters’ levels swimmers. He has a personal interest in rehabilitation of athletic injuries to the shoulder and knee.
Tyler is also on TCO’s concussion and vestibular team. He is an ImPACT trained physical therapist (ITPT), and received a certificate of advanced training in concussion management through 360 Neuro Institute. Common diagnoses treated include post-traumatic and non-traumatic vertigo and dizziness, headaches, and neck pain/whiplash following a head injury. He uses the best current evidence to guide athletes through the recovery process of a concussion to facilitate a safe return to school and sport related activities.
