Arpan Pal

Arpan Pal is a seasoned professional in the field of Embedded Devices and Intelligent Systems, currently serving as Distinguished Chief Scientist and Research Area Head at Tata Consultancy Services since April 2002. Over the years, Arpan has progressively advanced through various leadership roles, focusing on innovative research and the creation of Intellectual Property in areas such as Edge Computing, Edge AI, and Neuromorphic Computing. Arpan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Multimedia and Networking from Aalborg University and multiple degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. In addition to industry responsibilities, Arpan contributes to academia as a member of the Board of Governors at IIIT Kalyani and as an associate editor for several prestigious journals, shaping the future of cyber-physical systems and embedded technologies.
