Arshad Farhan has a diverse background in IT support and cybersecurity, beginning with an apprenticeship at BHEL from December 2011 to December 2012. Following this, Arshad worked as a Desktop Support Engineer at Wipro Infotech from February 2013 to April 2014, providing field support at Toyota Kirloskar Motors. Arshad continued the career path as a System Engineer at Maples ESM Technologies (MapOptis) from May 2014 to May 2015, while also serving as a Servicedesk Agent on a contract basis for Tata Consultancy Services. In July 2021, Arshad joined Tata Consultancy Services as an Endpoint Protection Admin, managing Symantec’s Endpoint Protection and monitoring risks using Qualys VMDR. Subsequently, Arshad took on a Cyber Security Engineer role, remediating alerts through SIEM systems and enhancing organizational security posture. Additionally, Arshad has experience in patch management, deploying patches to Windows endpoints and servers via WSUS and SCCM. Arshad holds a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from R.J.S Polytechnic and completed SSLC at St Thomas Aquinas School.
