BP Gautham

BP Gautham is the Chief Scientist at TCS Research, where they lead a research and innovation program focusing on the integration of materials, mechanical, and chemical engineering with computer science. With expertise in physics-driven modeling, simulation, and optimization of engineering systems, Gautham has contributed significantly to fields such as Integrated Computational Materials Engineering and Generative Design. Their experience includes roles as a Senior Project Officer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and as a Principal Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services. Gautham holds a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Applied Mechanics, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and has co-authored a book, numerous papers, and holds several patents.
