Dale Smith

Dale Smith possesses over four decades of experience in unemployment insurance, with a focus on benefits, tax practice, management, and supervision, as well as nearly 25 years in senior and executive leadership roles. Dale's extensive career at the Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES) began in 1979 as a part-time Employment Interviewer, culminating in the role of Deputy Executive Director in 2009. As a visionary leader, Dale has successfully led numerous technology-driven initiatives, establishing Mississippi as a pioneer in innovative UI and workforce services. Currently, Dale serves as the Director of Unemployment Insurance at Tata Consultancy Services, where they continue to influence the field through strategic development and partnership initiatives.
