Joel Thompson

Joel Thompson, Ph.D., has over 24 years of experience in AI, Robotics Haptics, and Engineering IT Automation across various industries, including manufacturing and life sciences. Currently, Joel is the Head of AI Services at TCS Japan, where they lead a team focused on embedding AI into business processes and internal offerings. Joel has built a team of AI engineers and established the AI Studio for customer collaboration. With a Ph.D. in Robotics Haptics from Keio University, Joel is also an avid researcher and thought leader in the field, fostering young talent and driving growth initiatives.
