Pradeep Kumar Khosla

Dr. Pradeep Khosla has served as the Chancellor of UC San Diego since August 2012, where they oversee a campus community of 40,000 students and a $6.1 billion budget. Prior to this role, they spent 30 years at Carnegie Mellon University, rising through the ranks to become the Dowd University Professor and Dean of the College of Engineering. Dr. Khosla is a co-founder of two companies, Quantapoint Inc. and BiometriCore Inc., and has held several board positions, including Independent Director roles at Tata Consultancy Services and Avigilon. Their research expertise includes Robotics, Cybersecurity, and Systems Engineering, complemented by extensive consultation and advisory roles in technology and start-ups.
