Rakesh Dawar is a seasoned executive in the technology consulting sector, currently serving as Vice President & Senior Managing Partner of the Business Transformation Group at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) since April 2022. With a strong focus on enhancing customer-centric strategies and delivering superior business outcomes, Rakesh is responsible for managing technology and telecom client groups, driving growth and transformation, and maintaining executive-level client relationships. Rakesh's extensive experience at TCS includes leadership roles such as Vice President & CMI BU Head for the UK & Ireland region and Head of Comms, Media & Info Services, where responsibilities encompassed business development, client retention, and overall P&L management. Rakesh began the career in 1989 at TCS, progressing through various technical and managerial roles, and has cultivated a deep expertise in client acquisition across multiple industries. Rakesh holds a master's degree in Computer Applications from Birla Institute of Technology and a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University.
