Alex Loo, CFA, currently serves as Vice President and FX & Macro Strategist at TD Securities, a role held since December 2020. Based in Singapore, Alex contributes to the Global Macro Strategy and FX Strategy team, focusing on macroeconomic and foreign exchange research pertaining to China and other emerging Asian economies for institutional and commercial clients. Prior to this position, Alex was an Economist at the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore) from October 2017 to November 2020. Alex holds a Master of Science in Economics from UCL (2016-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Singapore Management University (2013-2016).
