Chris Browne

Vice President, Investment Banking - Mergers & Acquisitions at TD Securities

Chris Browne has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP for a brief period. In 2013, they became a Staff Accountant at KPMG, specializing in financial institutions. In 2014, they joined GMP Securities as an Investment Banking Co-op Analyst. However, their main focus has been in investment banking at TD Securities, where they started in 2016 as an Analyst in Global Mining. Chris then progressed to become an Associate in the same field from 2018 to 2021. Recently, they held the positions of Vice President in Investment Banking, first in the Global Mining sector and then in Mergers & Acquisitions.

Chris Browne completed an Honors Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (BMath) from the University of Waterloo and an Honors Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to that, they attended M. M. Robinson High School. Chris also obtained certifications in the Canadian Securities Course and the Derivatives Fundamentals Course from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2013.
