Mark Laing

Mark Laing, CPA, CA, CFA, has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as Managing Director at TD Securities since November 2015, where responsibilities include senior origination of Canadian investment grade corporate bonds, with a focus on sectors such as pipeline, utility, energy, and real estate. Prior to this role, Mark worked at BMO Capital Markets from July 2009 to October 2015 as Vice President of Debt Research, overseeing a significant portfolio of pipeline, utility, and real estate credits, and contributing to a top-ranked research team. Early career experience includes serving as a Senior Accountant at KPMG Audit, where audit responsibilities included structured investment vehicles and private equity partnerships. Mark holds an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
