David Eisenberg is a Senior Engineer at TDA Research since July 2015, specializing in solving science and technology problems. Prior to this role, David served as a PhD student in the Biothermal Technology Laboratory at Carnegie Mellon University from 2010 to May 2015, where research focused on the solid mechanics of cryopreservation through vitrification. David also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Syracuse University, working on understanding the impact of barely visible impact damage on the residual strength of sandwich composites from May 2008 to May 2010. David holds a PhD and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University. David completed high school at Parkland High School, graduating in 2006.
