Patrick MacDonald

Patrick MacDonald has held a variety of roles in the media production and archival industries. In 2013, they began working with the Boy Scouts of America as a Camp Photographer and Counselor. In 2018, they held internships with the Illinois Film Office as a Media Intern and Batavia Access Television as a Media Production Intern. In 2019, they worked with Chicago Filmmakers as a Program Management Intern. In 2020, they were a Teacher's Assistant/Paraprofessional for the Batavia Public School District 101. In 2021, they joined The Digital Archive Group as a Senior Digital Technician and Digital Image Technician. Currently, they are a Project Manager for The Digital Archive Group, where they prepare, scans, digitizes, and post-processes large collections of photographic film and documents, averaging around 3,000 photos daily. Patrick also leads and oversees the finalization of all projects to ensure the highest quality before they are delivered to clients.

Patrick MacDonald earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Art & Science from Columbia College Chicago between 2016 and 2020.
