Jacob Mortensen

Jacob Mortensen is the CEO of YouSee at TDC Group. Jacob has led the market leading brand across TV and entertainment (>50% market share), internet (>30% market share) and mobile voice (>20% market share) in the danish consumer market. Launched giga speed internet offering +1.000 Mbit/s broadband products to >2 mio. danish households. Improved customer loyalty and reduced churn by 25% on mobile voice and internet product categories. Launched Xee – YouSee´s own TV and Streaming channel (now top 5 commercial channel in DK). Brought YouSee from negative NPS to positive NPS twice - happy to share the story. Full merger of Fullrate brand, products and organisation into YouSee. P/L turnaround from a 3-digit DKKm revenue decline into free cash flow growth. P/L management of 8,5 bn DKK. Delayered organisation, reduced bureaucracy and created a more customer focused organisation. Led organisation of 1.600 great YouSee colleagues.

Mortensen has also worked as a management consultant for PA Consulting Group from November 2005 to September 2008.

Jacob Mortensen has a Master of Science in Management Accounting and control from Copenhagen Business School, an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada, and a Bsc. in philosophy and business administration from Copenhagen Business School.
