Marcus Sand

Marcus Sand is currently a Security Operations Center Analyst at TDC Erhverv, where responsibilities include in-depth analysis of complex security incidents, enhancing SOAR capabilities, and coordinating incident response plans. Marcus has also worked as a Security Operations Center Intern, contributing to managed detection response efforts and developing detection rules. As an active member of the CTF (Capture The Flag) team at Kalmarunionen, competition in cybersecurity skills is a focus. Volunteer efforts with Students' Business Relations (DSE) include roles as IT Coordinator, Salesperson, and Event Coordinator. Previous experience as an IT Technician at DTU and various positions at BonBon-Land and Herlufsholm Svømmeklub demonstrates a diverse skill set. Educational pursuits include a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Technology from DTU and an international experience at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
