Patrick Whitford

Patrick Whitford is currently in-house counsel at TDX Construction. Prior to this, they worked as an assistant project manager at C & R Housing, Inc. from September 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for reviewing and assisting in the design of energy audit analysis and implementation reports for multi-family buildings. Patrick also prepared energy conservation method scopes and specifications and areas where renewable energy systems could be used to maximize the generation remaining energy after measures were installed. Additionally, they daily interacted and coordinated with Project Superintendents, Sub Contractors, and vendors; created and uploaded contractor documents, proposals and bids to NYSERDA and other state entity portals; interpreted contract documents, scheduling and equipment utilization as required; established and maintained business relationships with community based organizations, clean energy contractors and utilities; supervised installation of energy conservation methods and high efficiency/electric HVAC through site visitation and regular communication with site supervisors; prepared utility and other incentive program applications, permit packages and customer submittals; and assisted during the construction phase of the project by reviewing submittals, change orders, and RFI’s, and making recommendations to the Project Manager.

Patrick Whitford holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Patrick is also certified by the U.S. Green Building Council in LEED AP Operations + Maintenance and by the OSHA Safety Training Institute in OSHA 10.

They work with Dominick Reda - Senior Project Manager, Prakash Shah - Senior Project Manager, and James R. Jones - Principal & Field Operations Manager. Patrick Whitford reports to Joseph Fitzpatrick, President & Principal.
