Dr. Eric Schulz

Dr. Eric Schulz is a Senior Process Development Engineer specializing in welding at TE Connectivity since January 2022. Previously, Schulz held the position of Welding and Assembly Planning Engineer at Gestamp from October 2020 to December 2021, and served as a Process Development Engineer for Joining Technologies at Mercedes-Benz AG from March 2018 to August 2020, focusing on the advancement of resistance spot welding for aluminum. Schulz obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, where a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Foreign Languages and Literature (German) was also earned. Earlier experience includes a cooperative student role at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Standards and Controls Engineering and Body Shop Maintenance Engineering.
