Jerry Zhou began their work experience in 2009 as a Postdoctor at Baosteel Group Co. In 2011, they joined TE Connectivity as a Senior Engineer and worked their way up to becoming a Manager of Material Engineering. Jerry then transitioned into the role of Manager of Automation Manufacturing Technology and later became the Global Assembly & Automation COE Leader. In 2021, they served as the Senior Manager of Additive Manufacturing Technology and then took on the role of Corporate Technology Center-Harrisburg Lead. Throughout their positions, Jerry successfully implemented various strategies and initiatives, such as developing technology roadmaps, improving engineering productivity, and promoting design to additive manufacturing. Jerry has also led teams and initiated competitions to foster innovation and talent growth.
Jerry Zhou completed their education in a chronological order. Jerry began their academic journey at Shandong University of Science and Technology, earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from 1998 to 2002. Jerry then pursued a Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering at Shandong University, studying from 2002 to 2005. Lastly, they obtained their highest level of education, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Material Science and Engineering, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they studied between 2005 and 2009.
In addition to their formal education, Jerry Zhou has also obtained professional certifications. Jerry received the certification in "Supply Chain Strategy and Management" from MIT Sloan School of Management in June 2021. Jerry also completed a certification program on "Implementing Industry 4.0: leading change in manufacturing and operations" from the same institution in December 2020.
