Nigel Silva is a board-certified Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineer and an experienced Data Scientist currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at TE Connectivity. Nigel has a strong background in developing and deploying analytics solutions that utilize Machine Learning and Big Data, with expertise in Python, Spark, and SQL. Previous roles include Data Scientist positions at Aboitiz Data Innovation and MERALCO, as well as serving as a part-time lecturer on Natural Language Processing at De La Salle University. Nigel earned a Master’s in Data Science from the Asian Institute of Management and holds a Bachelor’s degree from De La Salle University.
