Peter McCarthy has extensive experience in the automotive sector, currently serving as the VP & GM of Transportation Sensors at TE Connectivity since October 1998. In this role, Peter leads the Global Transportation Sensor Business, focusing on the development and marketing of cleaner and safer sensor solutions for the automotive industry. Previous positions at TE Connectivity include Senior Director of Global Strategy & Business Development, where Peter implemented growth strategies for a $5 billion automotive segment, and Director of Global Product Management, which involved achieving market leadership in automotive data connectivity. Peter began his career at Delphi as an Engineering Manager, overseeing new product launches and collaborating directly with customers. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Limerick and completed a Leadership Development Program at The Wharton School in 2011.
