Rain Shen

Rain Shen has extensive work experience in compliance and regulatory roles. They currently work at TE Connectivity as the BU Product Compliance Lead since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SKF Group as the North America Material Compliance Manager (2021-2022) and Compliance Manager for Product Environmental Compliance (2013-2021). At SKF Group, Rain was responsible for product regulatory compliance, new product development, material reformulation, and reviewing/approving product labels and marketing materials. Before joining SKF Group, Rain worked as a Compliance Manager at SKF Group (2012-2013), an Attorney at Shanghai Generation Law Firm (2009-2012), a Consulting Manager and Consultant at D&M, Actlink business consulting (2006-2009), a Management Trainee at Bestbuy Electronics (2006), and a Licensing Executive at Eivio Pte, Ltd (2004-2005).

Rain Shen has a diverse education history. In 2000-2004, Rain pursued an LLB degree in IP Law at Shanghai University. In 2010, Rain attended Washington University in St. Louis School of Law for an Executive LLM degree, specializing in U.S Law. Continuing their education, Rain obtained a Product Stewardship Professional Certificate from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2017-2019. Additionally, Rain has acquired several certifications, including Asian Leadership Essentials from McKinsey & Company in July 2023, Product Stewardship from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in December 2019, and the New York Bar from the New York State Unified Court System in June 2011.
