Synthia Dash is an accomplished advisor in social and mental health services, holding two .5FTE roles at a Child, Youth, and Family Mental Health Specialist Service and an NGO Social Service. They graduated with a Master’s in Public Health (Honours) from the University of Auckland, where their thesis focused on Pacific Island mental health and self-harm behaviors. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and extensive experience in mental health and addiction research, Synthia has contributed to various projects throughout their career. Currently, they continue to work with Te Pou while actively engaging in community service and mentorship. Synthia, of Samoan and European descent, resides in Auckland with their family.
