Aly Shaw

Aly Shaw holds an MA, MSc, and PhD, with a focus on maritime environmental regulation. They have a diverse background in policy and consultancy, currently serving as Maritime Transport Policy Manager at T&E and Senior International Policy Advisor at The Aspen Institute. Previously, Aly was Policy Lead for the Shipping Team at UCL and Principal Consultant and Policy Lead at UMAS. Their academic journey includes a PhD from the University of St Andrews, complemented by a Master of Science from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Arts from the University of Edinburgh. In addition, Aly has experience as an Associate at Deloitte UK and has contributed to education as an Undergraduate Tutor at the University of St Andrews.
